AEP WebSDK is a client-side data collection service. It is a JavaScript library that is embedded in a website or web application. The WebSDK collects data about user interactions with the website or web application and sends it to the Adobe Experience Platform Edge Network.

The Edge Network is a global network of servers that processes and delivers data to Adobe Experience Cloud solutions. The Edge Network also provides a single point of integration for all Adobe Experience Cloud solutions, making it easy to collect and distribute data across the cloud.

Here are some of the benefits of using AEP WebSDK:

It is easy to implement and use.

It is flexible and can be used to collect a wide range of data.

It is scalable and can handle large volumes of data

It is secure and protects user data.

If you are looking for a client-side data collection service that is easy to use, flexible, scalable, and secure, then AEP WebSDK is a good option to consider.

Web SDK is (web) client-side.

Its server-side sibling is Edge Network Server API https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-platform/edge-network-server-api/overview.html?lang=en

WEB SDK implementation is really client to server to server

WEB SDK (CLIENT) To DataStream (SERVER) to Point product (Analytics, AEP or Event forwarding) (SERVER)
