We are in the process of SSO integration and currently all our users(with multiple Domains) are having identity type as "ADOBE ID".
I did learned from https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/manage-adobe-profiles.html that once we migrate to SSO. The non claimed domains will turn into identity type as "BUSINESS ID" and "BUSINESS ID" can't be turned into "FEDERATED ID" later.
Once an "Adobe ID" turned into "Business ID" Can we use the same password or do we have to reset the password.
What is the login experience being Business ID and it's major difference with Adobe id.

Adobe IDs are individual accounts. Users manage their own login credentials through account.adobe.com. These are listed in the User Directory, and are the only type used by teams customers who do not claim domains.
The Business ID is associated with one and only one authenticating account.
Follow below document to get clear differentiation between multiple types of ID'S
Hello, Imarn.
I did read through most of the adobe documentation which did not clearly callout how the Business ID account behaves. Mainly i was looking for answers to below questions.
In the process of migration to SSO where users with multiple domains(Internal owned and External not owned) are present(Currently with Identity type as Adobe ID) .
@krishna_garikapati Please find below answers for every point:
1. Registering a domain typically doesn't affect the user identity type directly. Adobe generally allows users to choose their identity type based on their needs, whether they're registering a domain or not. The decision to switch to a Business ID may depend on factors such as whether the user is an individual or part of an organization, their licensing needs, and other considerations.
2. Contact Adobe Support: The most reliable way to initiate a transition from Adobe ID to Federated ID is by contacting Adobe Support directly. They can guide you through the process, including any necessary steps and requirements.
3. the impact on user experience from transitioning to a Business ID should be minimal, focusing mainly on administrative and management aspects rather than changes to how users log in or interact with Adobe's products and services.
@Imran__Khan Thanks for the efforts to help. My questions are majorly coming from the documentation here https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/manage-adobe-profiles.html and My major concern is the user login experience considering our huge user base.
Please look into the highlighted text in the screen shot.
Have you ever experienced logging in as a user identity type " BUSINESS ID". If so could you detail the login steps.
Adobe confirmed that the documentation is not upto date and per our tests. Adobe ID will not be updated as BUSINESS ID(Identity type). Post domain registration we can update the Adobe id to Federated in bulk using CSV approach.
