What is the best way to export and import Editable templates with policies in aem?

Dear AEM Community, 

Is there any better way to export and import Editable templates with all the policies in AEM 6.4.5 ?

I don't think adding all the policies from all types and preparing a package with bunch of filter is hard way of doing? is there any simple and better way of doing it?

Templates and policies are stored under /conf/<myconf>

OOTB example for WeRetail:

Templates - /conf/we-retail/settings/wcm/templates

Policies - /conf/we-retail/settings/wcm/policies

As such, you can create a package for similar locations in your AEM and export your custom templates and related policies
