What CDN does AEM cloud come with?

Avatar

Level 9

We have purchased AEM cloud service for a considerable amount, but the documentation seem to have no information about CDN, other than there is one.

Could anyone who already has AEM cloud version, tell us:

  1. Which CDN provider they use, e.g. Cloudflare, Akamai
  2. If we can access the CDN control panel to block specific countries
  3. If we can access the control panel to white list/blacklist Ips.
  4. If we cant access the control panel, If we can request Adobe block specific countries for us, and, if so, what is the process and how long does it take?
  5. If the provided CDN includes, without additional cost, bot protection products such as Cloudflare bot manager or Akamai bot manager.
  6. If the CDN is cloudflare, if we can add on cloudflare marketplace products such as DataDome.
  7. Do we have the ability to flush the CDN caches ourselves.
  8. Can we set cache timeouts for individual assets, and for categories of assets (e.g. by type or location)
  9. Is this info documented anywhere?

Many thanks for any help.

Adobe uses Fastly CDN with AEM as a Cloud service. You also have an option to use your own CDN if you already have one. In case you prefer to use your own CDN then the requests are just passed through Fastly without Fastly doing anything with your request,

@TB3dock As stated by others, adobe uses Fastly CDN, but if you already have a CDN, you use on top of Fastly so that it will be always under your control for domains, redirects and other settings.
