Versioning: Visual Diff between two versions of the component content

Hi Experts,

What needs to be set on the component in order for it to display diff between versions,

E.g. differences between two content versions when there were changes in the component content during these two version.

The more precise problem that I'm seeing:

Example 1: OOTB: /libs/foundation/components/image works perfectly fine with the Diff functionality

Example 2: OOTB: /libs/wcm/foundation/components/image does not seem to be working with the Diff functionality

Now, the problem is that some of our current components are build with the example two. What needs to be set on the component in order to make Diff work?

Looked at this thread [0]

Tried to do the change comparison with the DiffInfo[1], but it appears to be not provided in AEM 6.1[2] for some reason.

is there any docs on how to make diff between two versions, how to enable DiffInfo?
