Transitioning steps to move from Adobe Managed services to Adobe Cloud Services

Hi All, 

We are planning to move from Adobe Managed Services to Adobe Cloud Services. 

Currently we are using static templates to create pages, and legacy components. Can anyone please suggest steps we should take to refactor the code for the smooth transition and make our code compitible for ACS.

For your components , templates, pages you can use the BPA and modernization suites to validate if you are ready to move to AEM as cloud service.
