Support for JSP in future AEM 6.x versions

Avatar

Former Community Member

Hi,

We're about to invest heavily into JSP on AEM 6.2. Just wanted to check if there will be continuous support for JSP through out 6.x versions.  Can anyone help me with this information? If JSP will be supported in future AEM 6.x versions, please provide me with the link where it is mentioned. I'd really appreciate any help here!

Thanks,

Please do not invest into JSP development anymore. We all made our share of experience with untestable code, markup mixed with Java, and so on.

Please, please start adopting HTL and Sling Models. That's best practice today.

At the moment there is not statement out about the stay or go of JSP support in AEM.

kind regards,

Jörg

Agree with Joerg - invest in HTL as opposed to JSP. HTL is best practice and we have tons of examples. We will never do JSP examples anymore - same with Classic UI.
