spin set

Hi All,

Hope you all are doing great!

I was going through the spin set help doc as I have to create a spin set in 6.0 and 6.1.

Creation of a spin set in 6.0 was possible but as I tried creating it using 6.1, I was stuck!

The screenshots shown in the help doc of 6.1 shows that there is a plus button which will give one an option to create a spin set, as I went to assets, uploaded the images, I was stuck at a point where there was no plus button to click for creating a spin set.

Everything else was same as shown in the help doc apart from the fact that there was no plus button to make a spin set

Attached the screenshot so that one can make out the differences.

Please help me out on this as to how to create a spin set in AEM 6.1

Hi ashirwad joshi,

From the screenshots, it looks like you're not in the Assets folder. You need to be in there to create a folder. If when you create a folder, and spin sets doesn't appear, it means that dynamic media is not turned on.

Hope that helps.

Cheers,

Alva

When you follow the docs - you are not getting the results as stated in the documentation?

If the documentation does not work - please open a ticket here against the AEM documentation, State the problem and the URL. Title the ticket something like Spin Sets docs do not work.

Open the ticket here:

A Spin Set is really about showing assets in 3D - that is - a user can spin the assets and view it from different angles. You can program your own component that shows digital assets in 3D. You can use JQuery plug-ins to do so and create an AEM component. See this community article:
