is it possible to hide (or deactivate) the "Activate Page" Button in the Sidekick? What sense does this button make if you have a workflow tab in the Sidekick which contains the workflows you want your users to use?
I didn't find any possibility in /libs/wcm/core/content/ or anywhere else.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Only way I was able to do it with specific user right management, I had to modify the SideKick.js
Which is a very bad idea by its self but will do the job.

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out to Adobe Community.
You can enable/disable the Activate Page button under the Design mode > WCM Workflow. See:

Under Sidekick click on the Design Mode (ruler) and then under the ParaSys design (edit the design of Grid) and uncheck the activate page under the WCM workflow.
Thanks!

Thank you. That's not available within our AEM 5.5 SP2 installation.

Please refer to http://experience-aem.blogspot.in/2014/03/disable-sidekick-activate-deactivate.html . This has a very elegant solution.

Hi, could you re-attach the image here? I'd like to try this, but unsure exactly where to disable. Thanks!
