Hi, I tried implementing RTE Text styles as mentioned in this blog. Configure the Rich Text Editor plug-ins . Though it's working, I see that for the styles which I have added (style nodes added under styles with external Styles sheets) allow multi-select. i.e., authors can select multiple styles for the same text. This is not happening in Classic. Is this the expected behavior ?

So in your experience - Touch UI works better --- "We can select multiple Styles for same selected text in Touch UI RTE."
This is to be expected as Adobe is no longer investing in Classic UI. Adone recommends using Touch UI as much as possible. This is best practice.
Can you post a screen shot of your dialog to make this clear.

Styles in Touch UI (Note : Giga, Mega.. are custom styles)
Styles in Classic :
We can select multiple Styles for same selected text in Touch UI RTE. This is not possible in Classic. Once you choose a style, the style drop-down becomes disabled for that particular selected text. Then you have to cancel the styling definition (using the x button next to style button and then only you can apply next style). In Touch UI, you can select multiple styles and also author will find it little difficult to cancel styling/to know what styling is applied. Am I missing something here or is it expected. My style nodes :
