I have just tested the upgrade from 5.4 to 5.6.1 on one of our instances, author and publish, and in both cases the OSGi --> Config menu is missing from the system console. Any ideas? Thanks
Everything seems to be working fine otherwise. Cant see any noticeable errors, and all the relevant bundles and services seem to have started.

Make sure config plugin is checked at http://<host>:<port>/system/console/configMgr/org.apache.felix.webconsole.internal.servlet.OsgiManager
Only problem with that is configMgr cannot be found, probably a good indication of what the problem is, and why it doesn't appear in the menu
Sorry!!! Responded too early. Can you check at crx-quickstart/launchpad/config/org/apache/felix/webconsole/internal/servlet/org.apache.felix.webconsole.internal.servlet.OsgiManager.config
Ah removing ./crx-quickstart/launchpad/config/org/apache/felix/webconsole/internal/servlet/OsgiManager.config fixed the problem. Thanks

We also did a upgrade from 5.4 to 5.6.1. We never had this issue. Can you check the logs if you see any errors? Probably restart the server once.
If the issue is still not resolved, try to do upgrade once again.
If nothing works, Raise a ticket with Adobe :-)

I did also try a OOTB installation of 5.4 and that upgraded fine, and configMgr was available. It may be something to do with our installation, although it did it on both our author and publish instances. I am also going to try with AEM 6.0 and see if that does the same. As you say if all else fails then I will log a call with Adobe
