Hi community,
We have two environments on Adobe Cloud Manager one is production and other is non prod which is also called dev environment.
Question is around the domains for dev environment and SSL Certificates, what is the best way to manage domain and ssl certs on non prod environment keeping in mind the dev domain URLs wont be exposed to external internet traffic.
Should we always configure non prod domains with ssl certs just like we do for production environment ? which will indeed incur the cost to buy ssl cert each time you have new domain url for non prod environment?
Does Adobe Cloud Manager supports any kind of self signed free certificates configuration on non prod environment, just wanted to save the cost and there is no requirements of exposing the domain URL to external network / internet traffic.
Thanks

@imalakaamir : You can raise the certificate request based on how your Production domains are looks like.
1. Single SAN certificate - that includes all your Production domains and single wild card entry for all your Non-prod URL's / Production AEM URL's ( Author -> dev-author.abc.com/prod-author.abc.com , Publish-> dev-publish.abc.com, Dispatcher -> dev-xyz.abc.com ). Here abc.com is the root domain.
2. Two certificate - one SAN certificate for Production URL's and another wild card certificate for Non-Prod URL's.
