I need to some Information regarding need to explore will AEM sites and asserts support billions of documents. Please  help me on this.

Hi @chandrika123 ,

As per Adobe official documents, AEM 6.5 could support assets upto 2.1 Billions (no official reference to AEMaaCS though but AEMaaCS have the latest offerings that of 6.5. ).

In my previous project, I worked with almost 500GB of assets where the instance was unstable most of the time.
I would recommend, to go with external storage or at least external binary storage.

As adobe experience manager is flexible with external integrations, you can always other Adobe tools (CC or work-front) to achieve this.

Also please check the Dynamic media option(for variations of an assest), which might be also helpful.

If you have any specific storage sizing requirement , better to connect with Adobe support team .

    If there is huge amount of assets, use can use Scene7 or Dynamic Media depending on your use cases.
