Monitoring AEM with new relic.

Hi all,

Our customer has asked to use new relic one for monitoring aem application. Since I have not worked on this before, I'm not getting clear picture about this.

I referred,

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/implementing/using-...

but this is just to manage users.

https://wiki.corp.adobe.com/pages/viewpage.action?spaceKey=PremierSupport&title=Performance+-+APM+-+...

shows just the screenshot of application monitored dashboards.

Is there any other document which shows how to create custom dashboard for our environment and clarity on why the users are given access to new relic. How to properly use the new relic service in our project.

Thank you.

You can check new relic documents

https://docs.newrelic.com/docs/query-your-data/explore-query-data/dashboards/introduction-dashboards...

To monitor special activity in new relic you have to push the data from AEM to new relic.

Adobe Team has a new relic for you If you have AMS contract , there you can see the performance dashboard or RPS etc.

There are APIs available that can be used to push data.

Hi Keerthana,

Below is the document which we used to create our custom dashboards using new relic, spend sometime and try to get your hands dirty on creating the random dashboards for monitoring the CPU, RAM and memory activities of AEM and then try to create which is useful for the project,.

https://docs.newrelic.com/docs/query-your-data/explore-query-data/dashboards/introduction-dashboards....

Hope this is helpful and mark as correct if it helpful.

Hi Let me try to help as I am also sailing in same boat more or less.

See, overall sol. is with below set of activities.

1. Add users in your cloud manager adobe account (through Manage Users) New Relic One | Adobe Experience Manager

Once you (and your team mates) get access, next step is to configure diff. Dashboards (New Relic capabilities)

2. Go to Dashboard, add a new Dash Board

  • Select the OOB

    Infrastructure Dashboard

  • Select your Account (your Org. ID - can be selected from drop down menu)
  • Set up data source [then Done]
  • Dashboard created.

I think to verify/configure your AEM CaaS Data Source you can get inputs from Adobe support team (raise ticket).
