Is it really necessary to upgrade an Uber jar when upgrading AEM Service Pack?

With AEM 6.5.10 service pack upgrade, I have some dependency issues. It is not a problem for me to use service pack 6.5.10, but the uber version has an impact on other dependencies. Can I skip the uber jar version and install service pack 6.5.10 alone?

Hello @Mario248 ,

It is generally recommended to update the uber-jar version when upgrading the service pack version of AEM. This can help ensure that your AEM instance is running with the latest runtime components and that any new features or bug fixes in the service pack are fully supported.

Obviously, you can skip this for now if you don't want to take this extra effort.

Here is some recommendation for using Uber Jar: https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager/uber-jar/m-p/141763
