If the thirdy part DAM is AEM DAM, you can use connected DAM[2] feature of 6.5

Otherwise, you need to write custom code and use Assets API[1] to perform the asset-related operation from third party server.

  • Retrieve a folder listing
  • Create a folder
  • Create an asset
  • Update asset binary
  • Update asset metadata
  • Create an asset rendition
  • Update an asset rendition
  • Create an asset comment
  • Copy a folder or asset
  • Move a folder or asset
  • Delete a folder, asset, or rendition

What exactly is your usecase? Giving answers to such questions without knowing a usecase is often leading to the wrong direction and not helpful at all.

Hi Jorg Hoh,

Yes the use case is that we want to integrate the aem dam with 3rd party dam but the client want to reverse the process and want to integrate 3rd party to aem so want to know it is possible or not if yes then how ?

Thanks!

what do you mean with "integrate"? What usecases do you need to support? Integration of a DAM into a DAM does not make that much sense, if no additional information are provided :-)

Hi,

I think that JaideepBrar give you a very good answer.

Just adding also an other way to integrate your DAM with thirdy part: Asset Selector

Thanks,
