IBM Websphere v8 Setup | Experience Manager 6.4

Hi AEM Support –

I am attempting to deploy WCS v8 and AEM 6.4 in a developer toolkit environment.

On the WCS side, following the IBM Websphere Setup, I have:

• Created Catalog Asset Store
• Created Storefront Asset Store
• AEM Extended Site
• Loaded Catalog Data
• Solr setup, pre-process and build index
• Inventory load

However, I have noticed all of the documentation is for Geometrixx Outdoors and no reference to WeRetail (which is the only site I have installed).

I am unable to find the Adobe CQ Commerce - IBM WebSphere Commerce REST API client which AEM needs to be configured to connect to the WebSphere Commerce server instance.

Please use Sling's context-aware configuration.

ConfMgr manages configurations in the resource tree.

Use this tool to test config resolutions.

Could you please be able to provide documentation to assist in this POC?

First version of the new CIF Cloud WebSphere connector will support v9 and v8 OOTB with some tweaks.

Customers and partners are strongly suggested to leverage the new connector for AEM AMS customers.

The new CIF Cloud WebSphere connector should be available within the next 2 months.
