Hi,
If i'm given with a url(ipaddress:portnumber), how can i find out whether this is an AEM 5.6.1, AEM 6.0 or AEM 6.1 ?
Will the version number be available anywhere in system/console or how can i find it ?

HI Praveen and Ashish
This is really great. Both of your answers are correct.
So To find the version on AEM :-
http://localhost:4502/system/console/status-productinfo
http://<host>:<port>/welcome
http://<host>:<port>/libs/cq/core/content/welcome.html
Thank you for the answer.
Thanks and Regards

@kautuk_sahni In my AEM instance I don't have access to these links. Only administrators have access. So, is there any other way to get AEM version?
I am only aware if this:
Method 1: Using the Welcome Console
Method 2: Using the System Console
Please check with you Admin to share with you access to these.

Hi,
Another way to find the verison of AEM is using Chrome extension.
Download the "AEM developer" extension. There many more features of this extension.
Thanks
