Re: Dynamic form sequence AshishSPanwar-a - Adobe Experience Manager Forms
We are not using Adobe target. I've gone through the documentation you shared and it doesn't talk about sequencing. The usecase I'm trying to solve is little complicated.More suggestions welcome.

Dynamic form sequence AshishSPanwar-a - Adobe Experience Manager Forms
Hi,We are using AEM forms in our project and one of the requirements is to change the form sequence basis external trigger such as user input, or url parameters.E.g. If user is identified to be of type "A", then sequence should be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8If user is identified to be of type "B", then sequence should be 1, 5, 2, 3, 8, 4, 5, 6, 7Similarly other combinations can be configured. This needs to be configurable such that sequence can be changed when required. Is this achievable via AEM form...

Re: Issue in AEM's translation mechanism to get XLIFF from TranslationObject AshishSPanwar-a - Adobe Experience Manager
We are also facing same issue with this API. From what I can tell, the API implementation needs to be updated to handle this. This is a product bug.ThanksAshish

Re: AEM + Angular app AshishSPanwar-a - Adobe Experience Manager
Thanks for detailed response Kunal,The presentation layer is not yet finalised. It could be anything from Angular, ReactJS to any just about anyother framework. Since the choice of presentation framework could evolve to anything, we would like to focus on AEM acting as a content authoring, storage and delivery layer. There are other core systems (apart from AEM) which the app would need to talk to. And the fact that an entirely separate team would be owning the presentation stack. This decoupled...

AEM + Angular app AshishSPanwar-a - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi All,We are considering following setup for one of our projects and I would like to poll the community on their learnings having implemented such a setup in their projects. Our front end layer would be served by an independent application (say using Angular/ReactJS hosted on Tomcat). AEM would be used purely as a content authoring and storage medium. The Angular app (desktop and mobile) would “load/fetch” content from AEM servers (including Dispatcher in front to enable content caching). This se...

Hidden field component AshishSPanwar-a - Adobe Experience Manager Forms
Hi All, I'm exploring AEM Forms on OSGI (AEM 6.0 SP2 + AEM Forms 6 SP2).During form submit action I need to pass some hidden values. I created a simple component that generates following markup. // value can keep changingClicking on submit action button does not submit the form. Firebug or Chrome console lists out lot os js error. On closer inspection I found that unlike foundation forms component, here element does not have any action or method defined. A lot of this is being done via javascript...

Re: Unable to bulk edit sling:vanityPath property in Bulk Editor AshishSPanwar-a - Adobe Experience Manager
I have also experienced this before while editing a multi value property via Bulk editor.I had to modify the bulk editor component to make it work in my case. I wrote steps in a blog post.http://www.intelligrape.com/blog/2013/11/29/aemcq5-6-bulk-editor-extension-part-1/These steps are only for updating multi value String properties via the bulk editor console (for now). So exporting and then re-importing in tsv files with some changes will not work with this. But this can be a good starting poin...

Re: Can Sling Post Servlet handle huge upload of assets ( 1.2 terabyte) AshishSPanwar-a - Adobe Experience Manager
Sling Post Servlet should be able to handle this kind of upload.I have used Webdav for this purpose to successfully upload over 25 GB assets to AEM DAM. You might want to explore that for your usecase. Just remember to disable all DAM related workflows as those are the real memory hogs during rendition generation. For page content AEM packages are suited, though packages over 2GB are not recommended.- Ashish

Re: Shooting in the dark | Different DOM markup b/w author and publish AshishSPanwar-a - Adobe Experience Manager
@edubey: Which rewrite rules do you mean?I have already checked any applied resource resolver rules and there are none being applied.Only other rewrite rules would be in web server layer which again seems unlikely. I do not believe Apache has been configured to modify the DOM.- Ashish

Re: Shooting in the dark | Different DOM markup b/w author and publish AshishSPanwar-a - Adobe Experience Manager
I also suspect the same but cannot pinpoint the cause unfortunately. The last bit is confusing where it works on DEV publishers but generates different mark up on PROD publishers. Clearly some other service is coming in the way of this component's output.- Ashish

Thanks for the reply,I checked all runmodes in codebase and it seems there is no customisation made for any XSS protection configuration. Additionally looking into Felix configuration manager I could not find any service config for XSS service.- Ashish

Shooting in the dark | Different DOM markup b/w author and publish AshishSPanwar-a - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi All,We are trying to address a weird problem. Suggestions are welcome. We have a custom component (Social Share) that does not show up correctly in Production Publish instance only. In all other environments DEV, QA the component works as expected across both author and publish instances.Production instance is managed by another team and we have very limited access to it. So currently it seems like shooting arrows in the dark.On author the DOM markup produced by the component is as follows:-I...

Re: Programmatically create workflow packages AshishSPanwar-a - Adobe Experience Manager
Thanks Sham,I am using the Granite workflow API. I think the official documentation needs to be updated. Every workflow documentation I came across used the "com.day.cq.." API.In the end I created the required Workflow Package Page via Node API.For my usecase I need to launch a workflow with multiple payloads. With the above approach my issue is now resolved. Programmatically create workflow packages AshishSPanwar-a - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi All,For one of my requirements I have had to create a custom console from where authors can select pages and initiate a workflow. Since authors can select multiple pages, I need to be able to pass multiple payload to the workflow. I know this could be done via Workflow packages but the documentation around it seems rather limited. I need to create Workflow package on the fly. I'm aware of a ResourceCollection and ResourceCollectionManager service that could be used but somehow it doesn't work...

We are also facing same issue. AEM forms mentions an "offline" feature which is enabled via HTML workspaces. I could not find any example for the same.Is it only applicable for Forms developed through Livecycle Enterprise Suite?- Ashish
