where I can download the AEM 6.5 if I want to investigate its functionalities?

I need some licensing or other?

You can download AEM from a Software Distribution portal:

https://experience.adobe.com/#/downloads/content/software-distribution/en/aem.html?package=/content/...

You need a license to install an AEM server.
