DAM Folder Level Permissions to the Users

Avatar

Hi,

When we give folder level permissions to Users for DAM folders, the current logged in user also gets the access to the folder by default along with the newly added user.

Now when we want to remove the access, we are not able to remove the current logged in user but all the other users can be removed.

Say the current logged in User is Divya, if I want to add 'xyz' user as an owner, Divya also gets added to the list of members along with xyz, Also the delete action could not be performed on Divya whereas we can remove xyz. Can some body help me with this? I am using AEM 6.3.

Thanks,

Divya

Its recommended to set DAM permissions as an Admin account. See User Administration and Security

Our requirement is such that both the users are Administrators.

Where in the Link you have shared, it recommends put DAM user permissions as Admin account?
