We are having an issue with uploading and installing a package in Google Chrome. When looking at the page source, there are references to flash which is due to go away by end of year. Can anyone confirm if CRX (AEM 6.5) does in fact use CRX? If so, has there been any communication from Adobe on a replacement for it? I can't seem to find anything on line tying CRX to flash.

Hi @dpeters1,
I am having no problems when in http://localhost:4502/crx/packmgr/index.jsp , and also no instances of Adobe Flash is running. Maybe its a Chrome Extension. You can try to upload a content package in incognito, without any Chrome Extensions. Sometimes Chrome Extension can cause side effects to the functionality of a website.

There are absolutely zero elements of Flash within AEM.
Any Flash content was removed from the product back in AEM 6.3.

There could be a Chrome Flash plugin that could be causing this issue.
Try disabling/removing that plugin, and verify whether the issue still exists for you in Google Chrome. Even in Incognito Window, it could be possible that you may have that Flash plugin work.
