Content and Experience fragments in e-mail templates for integration with Adobe Campaign

This is a general discussion exploring the possibility of using content and experience fragments while authoring e-mail pages in AEM which are sent as mails via Adobe campaign. Our client would like to use this functionality while authoring e-mail pages. Has anyone used content and experience fragments in the e-mail body? Would there be any issues while using content and experience fragments in e-mail body in respect with rendering of the content in different e-mail clients as there will be java scripts involved for rendering content ?

As per Adobe rep fragments (Content/Experience) cann't be used for sending emails in Adobe Campaign
