Can we generate Asset IDs directly for pdfs in AEM assets?

I am trying to leverage Adobe PDF Auto tag API. I already have all the PDFs hosted on AEM assets. I am looking for OOTB way to generating asset id for the pdfs to perform the API operation without need to uploading the PDFs to Adobe server again.

@Vishal : didn't get your question.isn't  asset id auto generated in AEM for all PDF'S when they are uploaded in AEM. Can you elaborate req pls

@digarg17  I am referring to the asset id which Adobe PDF API leverages for performing any operation on it. So far, I haven't found any documentation of directly leveraging DAM pdfs.
