Our org uses episerver for most of its sites. They are now considering AEM for a new site. As the lead architect, I need to have a look at the code and system and do a small proof of concept on a local devlepment laptop. I did this for Episerver no problems without paying for a license. According to this page: https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/get-started.html you have to have support contact to download the system to install locally. Is this true, or is there a way to evaluate adobe without first purchasing a license? Obviously I don't have the authority to approach Adobe sales on behalf of my company, nor would I want to.
I tried contacting adobe support via: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/support/experience-manager.html but you can only contact them if you have a support contract. There is no email or chat option if you are not already paying. The only option to contact seems to be this: https://adminconsole.adobe.com/ but when I login with my personal adobe id, it just says "ou don't seem to have access to the Adobe Admin Console."
To be clear this is a local install on a delopers laptop. I cant find any provision for developers and evaluators on the adobe sites, only for people who have already purchased licenses.
