Hi,
I've installed the service pack 6.5.8 on my AEM publish instance and I cannot login.
Previously I could do it by accessing 'http://<ip>:4503/crx/packmgr/index.jsp' and clicking in the login button that opened a modal where I could write my credentials.
I've seen that now this access is not possible but I have no other way to do it because login form is not really login.
I've tried with this:
http://<ip>:4503/libs/granite/core/content/login.html
and with this (this one redirects to crx de but without being logged in):
http://172.17.4.16:4503/libs/granite/core/content/login.html?resource=/crx/de
but when I write my credentials I'm not really logged.
I've seen that te cookie 'login-token' is not written as I can see on my author instance but I don't know why.
I had the Service Pack 5 installed before (AEM 6.5.5) and I had no problems with login using the loggin button in the Package Manager.
Any ideas? How can I make the login work?
Thank you in advance.

Hi @alex_p_c_
You can login with http://localhost:4503/libs/granite/core/content/login.html and it will take you to the login screen. Provide the credentials and you will be logged into the system.
Thanks!
Hi @alex_p_c_
If the credentials are correct you should be able to login. Just check if there are any errors in the log or if you have any console error while submitting the form.
The below one also works for me:
http://localhost:4503/libs/granite/core/content/login.html?resource=crx/de
Please check the logs once while logging into the system.
Hi @alex_p_c_
Once you are logged in can you try accessing /crx/de and see if it works?
Try in different browsers as well.
If I change to this URL I'm not logged in (and in this screen I cannot login because the login button has been disabled). I can only user Chrome because I'm using a remote desktop.
You can use the basic Auth to login via : http://<ip>:4503/libs/granite/core/content/login.html?sling:authRequestLogin=1
With this parameter I can login. Thank you very much!!!!
This doesn't seem to be working. There is no login-token generated and when navigating back to the CRXDE, it still shows not logged in.
Hi @Ankita-Das , if you navigate with the parameter you can see you are logged in. Keep the parameter in the URL.
Thanks.
Thanks alex_p_c_
I see what you mean. So if I append the Query Parameter to /crx/de/index.jsp?sling:authRequestLogin=1, it does show as logged in.
However, I am an admin user but the entire repo is not visible in CRXDE.
Also, SP 8 doesn't mention anything about the login-related change. Is it documented anywhere which I am missing?
Yes, I see it... that is weird. At least you can login into system console too.
I think this change was implemented at Service Pack 5:
At the release notes you can see something like this:
"Anonymous access to CRXDE Lite is disallowed. Instead, the users are directed to the login screen."
Regards,
SP5 we were able to log in to the publisher using the Package Manager. In fact, we were on SP6 till yesterday when we upgraded to SP8 and ran into this issue.
Thanks for your help! Do update the thread if you find something related.
This didn't work. Any other workaround?
Also, do we have a permanent fix for this? Before installing SP8, login to publisher was working fine via packagemgr url
Is there a way to logout after we login using this param, tried logging out from different pages on publish like /crx/explorer and /siteadmin but can't logout.
Thanks
@Satyaraoy You can access the below URL to logout.
http://localhost:4503/system/sling/logout.html
http://localhost:4503/system/console/logout
Thanks!
@alex_p_c_ @ranjith7 Can you try the following:
Then, try logging in again via the login page
@Jaideep_Brar Still the same for me. Unable to log in to the publisher (Tried on incognito)

@Jaideep_Brar The workaround is now working for me.
Hi All,
Try below for the permission issue with /crx/de to view all folders:
Log in to the below: http://localhost:4503/crx/explorer/index.jsp
Click on Content Explorer and Navigate to http://localhost:4503/crx/explorer/browser/index.jsp
We can see all the folder structures that we used to see in crx/de and manage from here.
Note: Blacklisting of the path - /libs/granite/core/content is not really needed I guess. It works as expected even without this config update.
Regards,
Ranjith
