AEMaaCS: Binary Cloud Storage for Assets

Avatar

Level 10

Hi all,

Is Binary Cloud Storage for Assets in AEMaaCS the only one instance for all author and publish instances, irrespective of how many they are?

High-level architecture at Process assets using asset microservices | Adobe Experience Manager  depicts Binary Cloud Storage, but does not address this point.

Thanks,

Rama.

It's a single binary storage, but that's an implementation detail and it should be of no concern for customers.

Hi @AEM_Forum

I went through the documentation as well. It's obviously unclear about low-level design if there's only one binary storage or multiples tied together.

For e.g. in the diagram it has shown only 1 experience manager and no low-level detailing. However, we know that behind 1 experience manager there're multiple pods running for author, publish instances. So, could be the case the for Binary storage as well.

Maybe an Adobe ticket helps to clarify the underlying structure in detail.
