All,
I am trying to integrate a locally hosted AEM version with the marketing cloud target product. I do have the target classic account details such as client code,email-address & password. However i am landing with the 401 unauthorized error. I thought its a password issue and asked the team to reseted it but no luck after reset also. I have read the docs, one thing that i am not sure is about the target approver rights. Is it the client code created already has the target approver rights or can some one put more details on that.
Thanks,
Yasar

Hi
Please have a look at this similar post:- http://help-forums.adobe.com/content/adobeforums/en/experience-manager-forum/adobe-experience-manage...
//
Please try to connect using the following information:
Client Code : <Reach out to Adobe>
Email Id : <Reach out to Adobe>
Password : <Reach out to Adobe>
Let me try to explain why you need use above account: Target actually have 2 versions: one is Test & Target (we called Target Classic), the other is Target Standard. You are able to access Target with your Adobe ID, that is to the Target Standard; In your AEM integration experiment, that is to Target Classic which don’t support Adobe ID authentication. In order to make your AEM integration success, Sandbox team provides this general email address and password.
Thanks and Regards

To check whether the user has approver rights in Adobe Target, go to Configuration > Users and the roles are listed next to each ID. That's where you can edit the role. The clientcode does not set rights.
