Hi,

Does it have a i18n system based on key/value  ?

Our team tries  to internationalize a site with only two language, what's the best to do this ? Live copy ? Language copy ?

Thanks in advance,

Joël .

Hi Joël,

As it happens, I just published the following in the AEM 6.0 documentation about internationalizing UI strings:

http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-0/develop/components/i18n.html

Live copy is a duplicate version of a site that links to the original for referential inheritance. This locks the content for editing to only those users with the proper permissions, as the edits will also apply to the original content.

In Language copy, language options are preconfigured, AEM can create a copy of your site that is ready to be translated. It does not translate the content when copied, but the user can determine which pages should be copied and from what language.

For understanding how key value works, please review

The link that I provided is for translating UI strings. User generated content can be machine-translated: http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-0/administer/social-communities/translate-ugc.html
