AEM as Intranet

I am trying to evaluate AEM for intranet portal. One of the key use case is Single Sign on with Enterprise AD. Read AD user profile attributes and based on the Role and Geo show different content to different users. If any one worked on these use cases share your thoughts.

Adobe campaign manager is an option to achieve personalization in AEM. And it loads the content based on user profile too.

Here is a good document to start with. https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-2/author/personalization/campaigns.html

Jitendra,

Adobe Campaign is more for Campaign management for Digital marketers. Here I am looking for showing Dynamic content to employees based on their roles.

Adobe Target is what you really need for personalization, along with the proper data to enable you to segment your audience for personalization.

Personalization based on User Profile, browsers, custom rules etc. can be achieved in AEM by

1. ContextHub personalization or

2. TargetEngine or

3. Adobe Target.

We have Helpx articles [1][2] on option 3 and would be coming up with Helpx article on option 1 & 2 sooner.
