AEM 6.4: What are the changes from ServicePack 6

Avatar

At the moment I'm working in a project that uses AEM 6.4. Before have installed the new service pack all things has worked fine. After installation of this pack we had and have to make lots of changes on our code to keep it running. Where can I read detailed information about changes for this new one?

Thanks in advance

If you find any fix has broken some functionality on your side, please log a daycare ticket and share the CQ-**** or NPR-**** number for the corresponding fix and steps to reproduce the issue on a plain AEM instance.

All changes/hotfixes encapsulated as service pack will be mentioned in release notes [1]. A new service pack 6.4.7.0 is available from Dec 12 which has all the previous SPs in it as well. Service pack are made not to break anything other thing than overlays on particular hot-fixes. Can you describe some of the items that got broken after service pack installation.

We used some SQL(2) queries to find pages and nodes. After installation the result list was always empty. We had seen in our log files that the used queries has been changed, so they were unable to find any results. By replacing them with XPath queries they working again.
