Hi all,
I wanted to do some hands on Adobe Experience Manager 6.1 version of Communities.
Following the following URL for this:
http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/deploy/communities.html#Version%201.7%20Fix%20Pack
It asks us to install AEM-6.1-COMMUNITIES-HOTFIX.
I logged using my Adobe ID. When I Click "Install" button for this hotfix, it says "There are no clouds available to install this package".
Please help.
Thanks,
Rama.

Hi Rama,
the Install button is incorrect. You have to download the file to disk or you download it to you aem instance.
To download directly into your instance do the following:
1. Log into package share from your instance: http://localhost:4502/crx/packageshare/index.html
2. Search for the hotfix, you will see the download option dl1.png
3. Click on download dl2.png
4. Go to package manager in your instance: http://localhost:4502/crx/packmgr/index.jsp dl3.png, the package can then be installed.
Or simply download the file from the assets tab and upload it manually to package manager.

Opkar

Hi Opkar,
I am able to locate AEM-6.1-COMMUNITIES-HOTFIX in Package Share in the URL
Here also when I click "Install" button, it offers the same below message:
There are no clouds available to install this package.
Is there any other way?
Is there any slide that depicts what all we can achieve using Communities?
Appreciate your help.
Thanks,
Rama.

Hi Rama,
If you open the link you posted:https://www.adobeaemcloud.com/content/marketplace/marketplaceProxy.html?packagePath=/content/compani...
There are four tabs, open the Assets tab, then there is the option to download the package. Then you can install it to your local instance.

Hi Opkar,
Your link "https://www.adobeaemcloud.com/content/marketplace/marketplaceProxy.html?packagePath=/content/compani..."
takes directly to the AEM-6.1-COMMUNITIES-HOTFIX Install page and no tabs are there. (not required also)
Same result. I click "Install", I accept license agreement, it says "There are no clouds available to install this package".
When you click on this, are you able to download? Then there may be a problem with my laptop.
In fact, there is one place where I can read through what AEM Communities offer, for now it serves the purpose.
AEM documentation on this is scattered across several pages.
So, please let me know whether all this info is there at a single place.
Thanks,
Rama,
