is there a way to encrypt form data in AEM? |
AEM does not store any data, data is encrypted in motion using HTTPS and in your data stores can be encrypted AT Rest. Customers can also encrypt data at source and AEM will pass it through. We are exploring options on our roadmap to allow customers bringing their keys to automatically encrypt as form is submitted, but not provided OOTB at this point...but our customers find it easy to do encrypt it at source themselves. |

Yes - typically we see customers using Marketo forms for lead generation effort, focusing on that specific part of the journey. AEM Forms can be integrated but also support end to end enrollment experiences. |

Marketo forms serves the need for easy lead gen forms, but for full enrollment and onboarding that are dynamic, guided experiences consistent with the brand experience and include business rules and workflows, AEM Forms is the right solution. |

AEM Forms is perfect when you have a requirement for a dynamic form (sections appear or disappear based user interaction or data pre-population). For example, in the past, when using Marketo forms, if you needed different variations of a form for different markets, you had to create and maintain different forms but with AEM Forms, you can put all of the variations within a single template and the data you push into the form will tell the form how it should be shown to the end user. |

Even draft saves are stored in customer owned data stores and can be encrypted at rest if desired, in addition to disk level encryption that is usually present |
