Additional Fields to the Build From form in Metadata Profiles and Schema Editors

Is there a way to add additional fields to the Build From Form in Assets Metadata Editor and the Schema Editors. I want to include a path browser

Here is screenshot of the current available Build from Options. As you can see this has a very limited number of options against the available ones

According to the documentation - this is not a valid use case.

Shouldn’t this be more of a case not implemented rather than an invalid one? Path field as a meta property is a pretty much common thing in Classic UI. Just wondering
