Can an Oracle service name be used instead of a SID when configuring DB for AEM 6.3 turnkey install?

This guide:

https://helpx.adobe.com/pdf/aem-forms/6-3/install-turnkey.pdf

Describes the parameters on page 26:

You need the following information when you configure the data source on the application server:

• SID (Service ID)

• User name and password of the Oracle user account

• Host name or IP address of the database server

• Oracle LISTENER port number (default is 1521)

But, we have the service name only.
