"Sync with AEM forms apps" while creating Additive form use(advance tab)

When we create Adaptive form (AEM OSGI Forms using add-on package)  , what is use of "Sync with AEM forms apps" while creating Additive form use(advance tab)  how its different from replication /publishing .what scenario we need to use this feature .

When you have the AEM forms app on your mobile device, you can synchronize the forms to be available on your AEM forms app

Thank you how its going establish the connection and mapping .Same AEM application URL going to access in mobile but planning develop mobile apps same . please advise how to develop mobile apps for forms project /forms  (no site pages its completely osgi forms project).

Is possible sync from Mobile App to AEM Author Server?

Currently i am not able see changes when i did chanes in my Adaptive form at author even though selected app sync option at advanced tab for this adaptive form. Moreover log is also not give any details about issue. Please advice
