Integrate AEM forms Designer with AEM Author 6.5 OSGI instance

Hi all,

I want to check on if this functionality is possible within AEM OSGI 6.5.

Is there a way to connect AEM forms designer with AEM forms Author OSGI , such that business users should be able to pull the AEM forms XDP's stored inside a particular folder inside /content/dam/formsanddocuments/<my_project_specific_folder> and be able to EDIT these XDP's and SAVE them back to the same folder, without having to log into the AEM Instance?

I want to check if all the EDIT and Save functionality can be done within AEM designer which is connected to a particular AEM author instance.

Don't recall if this feature used to work with JEE as well but we can make changes to a Designer template from Workbench application.

You need to make the changes in the template and upload the updated one on the OSGi instance.
