AEMaaCS AEMFORMS - Dynamic dropdown based on data source/formmodel

I do have a form model and want to populate dropdown dynamically via an exposed service FDM 

any one who has achieved this with core form components ?

I see in adaptive version there is set options of for dropdown via invoke service but do we have any such for core components ? Any snapshot or details will help

I meant it’s on the todo list of engineering 

currently it’s not possible using API to populate
