Session Details

Quickly bootstrap and deploy single-page apps (SPA) using Adobe App Builder workflows and tools, without traditional Experience Manager skills, like Java and Sling, being required. With Experience Manager Headless, marketers, and developers can each have the expertise in their own domain — developers control the overall application framework, styling, and routing while marketers determine the content and how it’s displayed.

Learn how:

  • Experience Manager Headless empowers developers to build SPAs using modern web technologies and flexible deployment models
  • Marketers can control content with Content Fragments and the SPA Editor

Housekeeping details:

  1. Duration: 60 minutes including 10 minutes of Q&A
  2. Audience: Customers, Partners, and Adobe Employees
  3. Recording & Slides will be made available to the public after the session
  4. The session is free of charge, registration will be required

Session Q&A

Questions Answers
For remote SPA, curious to hear how to support custom components. We have documentation for this: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-learn/getting-started-with-aem-headless/s...
Is there a nextJS-Starter for the remote spa? Not yet but NextJS support is definitely a topic we're looking into.
will app builder be used to host the js or just for SSR the app? hi, the app builder could host the js, it could be used to build the whole app e2e
Can we use SPA core components and other components together with the SPA editor? Yes and usually custom components are based on core components since they provide most required features out of the box.
How can I try AEM Headless? AEM Headless tutorial is available at https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-learn/getting-started-with-aem-headless/o...
including how to enable it in your AEM instance and further resources.
How can I try App Builder? Please complete the trial form at https://adobe.ly/appbuilder-trial

Dear Team, Thanks for the video. I am trying the stuff you were mentioning myself. But I don't see option to create a project using "template" in my login https://developer.adobe.com/console. May i know the way to get the template ? or is there a workaround?

Hi - you can apply for App Builder trial at https://adobe.ly/appbuilder-trial. Once your IMS org is enabled for the trial program, you will be able to create new project with template "App Builder".
