Asset Migration

Hi,
We have a requirement to migrate the assets from one folder structure to another folder structure within same instance of AEMAACS and the assets size is in TB so is there any way or tool we can use to migrate the assets.

Thanks & Regards,
Vishal Jain

@Vishal_Jain03 Over the weekend (non-working/peak hours), you might want to try Renovator tool for Move operation to move bulk assets within AEM DAM. It will be time consuming too, but worth a shot before any other external option. You can move assets in batches using excel files to complete the whole project with minimal impact.

@Vishal_Jain03 If both the source and destination folders are on the same instance, can we not just select the assets and move it to destination folder. (Select and Move are available as OOTB buttons on AEM Author)

As the assets size is in TB wont it be a slow process to select and move the assets?
and thanks for the reply.

The process might not be slow if the folders are within the same instance @Vishal_Jain03 . Or else you can move those folders in batches.
