Expiring public/private certificate keypairs

Avatar

Level 3

We've recently received email notifications regarding expiring public/private certificate keypairs:

----

"We have identified that some of your public/private certificate keypairs used in your Adobe integrations and applications in the organization

To ensure that Adobe integrations and applications using these certificates continue to work, you MUST complete the following actions before the specified expiry date(s)...

  1. Add new certificate keypairs to the affected Projects on the Adobe Developer Console.
  2. Update the affected integration or application to start using the new certificate keypair."

----

We do not recognize the specific public/private certificate keypairs from the email notification, hence we do not have context of their purpose.

Is there an audit log or something we can use to trace the history of the keys? perhaps the creator or the key?

Hey @campaignap sorry for the delayed response.

Yes, there is an activity log feature now on the Developer Console. However, as the feature just went live last week, we don't have historical data that could help you here.

Your best bet would be to try and find the software that uses the certificate and update it with a fresh one. To check if the integration is even being used - you can try viewing the insights tab in your project to see if there's any activity.

Hope this helps

Thanks,
Manik

Hi,

Good day. Were you able to resolve by chance?

For our company, we setup a project in the developer console, for integrating Adobe with ServiceNow. I'm also receiving the same message, with an option to button to 'Update certificate'. I'm not sure what to do in this case to be honest, but would appreciate if you or Adobe support would have guidance on how to resolve.

Thanks,

Peter

Hey @PC10,

Was the integration with Service Now developed by a team in your organization? In that case, they'd be able to help out best.

Thanks,
