Is there a way to add a column to an existing Load File Activity?

Hey Everyone!

We currently have a Daily Batch file that has around 70 plus fields. We want to add another feild to the file and and update our import workflow to accept the new feild.

The problem we are running into is that we have to update the file structure to add the new column, and doing that causes the column definition it reset. I have to go into every column and fix them. It's really time consuming and a risk of something being missed and either error out or mess the feild up completely.

Do we have a way to add a column to an existing file load activity without having to rest the column definition.

@derekw42533281,

Yes you can add additional column on the load file activity by editing load file activity and goto column definition section to add an element and make sure ID column on the column definition within load file activity having the same name as in the batch file column. Other things like data type etc. need to define properly for that additional column.

Thanks!
