How to preview dynamic content in ACS?

Hi -

Like many users here, our customers have unique attributes per user such as name, country, subscriber status, what products user has engaged with, etc. When I create a dynamic campaign that will show the right content to the right user, I would like an easy way to select REAL customers who are part of the campaigns audience, and either take a specific customer or random customer and preview how the dynamic content will populate in the email. How does one do this in ACS?

I am hoping to disprove my understanding that ACS does not allow you to preview real customers' email content. Instead, it requires you to create test profiles that you need to manually populate with whatever content you want to see appear in the dynamic elements of the email. If you hope to test dozens of variations in a short-time period and have zero interest in spending all of that manual time testing a limited number of test profiles, is there a way to do this in ACS?

I would compare this question to what seems to be available at other ESPs as cited here:

  1. Salesforce: https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=mc_co_dynamic_send_preview.htm&type=5. Key quote: Use Dynamic Send Preview with Marketing Cloud Connect to see personalized content based on real data, such as contacts or leads, in an email before sending. The preview renders exactly as the email recipient sees it.
  2. Responsys / Oracle: https://docs.oracle.com/cloud/latest/marketingcs_gs/OMCAA/Help/Emails/Tasks/PreviewingEmails.htm. Key quote “Search for a contact to use for the preview, then click Preview. Tip: You can select multiple contacts. Use standard keyboard shortcuts to select up to 10 contacts.
