Export xml data data in nms:eventHisto schema

Hello,

I need to export the data within the xml field of the eventHisto Schema. I need to parse out the data within the payload for the transactional message, passed from a query activity which pulls all the delta records in the table. The goal is to export the xml fields as columns within a file produced by an export activity. Has anyone done this before? It seems basic that we would need to have to send Message Center data over to an analytics tool for real reporting...
