Clarification on personalised tracked URLs in deliveries

hello,

I'm working on an email that requires the click through of 1 cta to be different depending on the customer (2 options)

I thought an easy way to do this might be to enrich the workflow with the URL using an IF, If customer is in this pool = www.URL1.com else www.URL2.com. Then populate that URL into the delivery by using this as a personalised field. I first populated into the CTA URL https:// then added the enriched URL as a personalised field.

It doesnt work with this error - DLV-490261 Personalizing host in a tracked link requires tracking URL signing

Could someone suggest a way to make this work? it is something to do with the tracking but i cant figure it out. I can only add the https:// into the URL field because the www part is different on each of the variants.

Hi @mm35,

I don't think you will be able to personalize the entire URL including the domain.

Instead, you can achieve this using the dynamic content option in ACS. When you enable the dynamic condition on the CTA component have the default URL as www.URL2.com. Add one more condition to the dynamic content to select the profile field to identify the pool and define the URL as www.URL1.com.
