Our institution would like to find out what times of day that messages from certain campaigns are most frequently opened. Are users mostly opening them in the morning, early afternoon, late afternoon, etc.?
When building a report, there are Time dimensions for Day, Hour, Minute, Month, and Quarter. However, the Hour dimension is for the hour of a specific day (e.g. Nov 1, 2019 9:00 AM), not an hour of a general day (e.g. 9:00 AM - 9:59 AM).
We would like a new dimension for Hour of Day that would enable us to get counts of events by hour regardless of the day and across multiple campaigns. This will enable us to better understand our recipients' reading and usage habits and time the sending of our campaign messages accordingly. For instance, if most of our recipients read in the morning, then we would likely shift the sending time to the morning.
