Use of Reconciliation tab in Enrichment activity

What is the purpose of Reconciliation tab present in Enrichment activity ?

Reconciliation tab would help to additionally link the temporary resource data with the data already in the database, for e.g. linking data fields in temp table with those in Clients(customer) resource.
