Hi Lakshmi, In ACC, there is no built‑in job that will automatically copy quarantines from the Marketing instance into the RT server. The standard mcSynch workflow brings MC quarantines back into Marketing, but the reverse direction (Marketing → RT) has to be handled with a custom workflow.
At a high level, you can:
- On the Marketing instance, build a workflow that:
- Queries your two lists, joins them to the email field, and deduplicates.
- Exports the emails you want to quarantine (CSV on SFTP).
- On the RT instance (if you have access), build a technical workflow that:
- Loads that file (Data loading activity).
- Enriches it against nms:address on email + iType
- Uses an Update data activity on nms:address to set the status to “Quarantine” (and optionally an error text).
Some best practices/performance tips:
For volumes greater than 1 million, split the file into several chunks and run the RT workflow during off-peak hours. First run it in “no‑update/simulation” mode to verify the selection, then switch to real updates once you’re comfortable with the impact.
