Tracking opens mobile vs desktop

Hello everyone! I was wondering if any of you know how we can have access to "Opens" information, regarding if the communication is opened through a mobile or desktop device? Does Adobe Campaign Classic gives you these type of information?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @UserForAdobeCampClass

Recipient Tracking Logs is holding the Open (and click) information. As part of the records, you have the user agent the open occur and in the user agent you would have the relevant information, (information is stored in entity nms:userAGent).... You can check the standard report "Breakdown on Open" which will give you hints of devices.

Sadly with the new privacy policies by browser and mobile app, you might start to see a load of "Unknown" indicating most likely that the user has its privacy set in such a way that we don't know if they actually open or not the email, open working on image pixel, images are now more and more loaded by proxy prior the email reaches the person and these proxies obfuscate the user agent information.

Hope this helps,

Thanks

Denis
