setting an activity execution mode to ‘Enable but do not execute’

What is the purpose of setting an activity execution mode to ‘Enable but do not execute’?
A. to step into the activity and execute stepwise
B. to examine records coming into the activity

Hi @HanadyTa ,

 

A. to step into the activity and execute stepwise --It happens when we enable "Normal Execution" option and it comes as default for all the activities in workflows. 
B. to examine records coming into the activity -- To do this  "Enable but do not execute" option on an activity will be used. Its used to test the workflow and the no of records coming in the transition until the previous activity where this option is enabled.
